About Tai Chi
Based on an ancient system of Chinese exercise, classes focus on a short form of tai chi & Chi Kung, the 18 moves for health & involve breathing exercises & graceful flowing actions. Most exercises are performed standing so are great for improving stability in the legs & postural balance. Studies suggest that practising tai chi regularly may reduce symptoms linked to stress such as IBS & panic attacks and in the long term have an effect on blood pressure, circulation and the immune system

Testimonials
"In the four months I’ve been going to classes we have been learning Chi Kung. I had not been very well and Tai Chi is an excellent way of getting back into exercise. There is always a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. It’s like meditation for the body." - Paul, 2006, Gloucester.
"Suffering from M.E. has meant I have had fairly low energy reserves for several years. Earlier this year I felt I had more energy and wanted to find an activity that I could do that wouldn’t push me too far but would be a positive endeavor. Tai Chi has proved to be this and I’m very glad I started. Clare is a lighthearted but knowledgeable instructor." - Gareth, 2006, Gloucester.  - Paul, 2006, Gloucester.
